More than two dozen musicians, including Rodney Crowell, Ruthie Foster, Hayes Carll, Kam Franklin from The Suffers, Kevin Russell, and many more will present a song to help KPFT celebrate our 50 th birthday (and hopefully raise much-needed funds.) Due to the Corona Virus, KPFT has shut it’s doors to volunteers and of course that covers DJ’s as well. Management has decided to re-broadcast old shows until they can figure an alternative. After a St Patrick’s Day that will live in infamy…We would like to encourage you to call and order some Corned Beef or Stew from your favorite local Irish Pub, that had to close their doors on St Patrick’s Day morning. All the Pubs that were planning to serve food that day are most likely stuck with food and no customers to serve it to. Please call them or go to their websites where you can order and pay for your order and pick it up with no personal contact during these trying times. You can also get a Guinness to go.
